Solarena, Tinto 2020

The Solarena estate works with local grape varieties and dry-farmed vineyards under warm Iberian conditions, embracing oak ageing to give wines structure and depth. Focused on traditional wines with a contemporary edge, they highlight varietal character with measured oak integration. Rich garnet-hued. Aromas of blackberry, dark plum, leather and toasted oak. On the palate: concentrated black fruit, blackcurrant and damson layered with cedar spice, cocoa and a hint of tobacco. Full-bodied, with firm but ripe tannins and a long, savoury finish. Oak ageing adds complexity without overpowering fruit. Ideal with stews, roasted game or aged cheeses.
